In Golden Gazes, two figures emerge from the color as if time had stood still.

They don't observe the world: they pass through it.

Their eyes, suspended against a golden background, function as silent mirrors in which the viewer recognizes themselves.

This work is part of the Eye of Mist universe, a visual exploration of consciousness, observation, and that which we feel before we can name it.

Gold does not represent wealth, but attention: that instant in which looking and being looked at merge.
